Trip to Gethsemani Abbey
Here is shot (another one) of the inside of the Abbey Church. The inside is very stark and modern looking --- though the church is quite old. At one time it was very Gothic in style. In the 50's they modernized the inside of the church.

This is still my wallpaper on my home pc. You don't think of it as the prettiest worship space, but it is impressive in its simplicity and focus. Huh, those monks always being intentional. I bet they don't have many arguments over the color of the carpet.
